Privacy policy

IPHere.org is a free tool run by Matrix Anchor. There are no ads, no cookies and no third-party tracking scripts on this site.

What we collect

When you use the site we record: your IP address, the page or tool used, the lookup you ran (for example a domain name entered into the DNS checker), your browser's user-agent and language, the referring page, the time, and the approximate location and network (country, region, city, ISP/ASN) derived from your IP address.

Why

To count how many people use each tool, understand where visitors come from, prevent abuse (rate limiting), and decide what free tools to build next.

Who sees it

Only Matrix Anchor. We do not sell this data. To work out approximate location, your IP address is sent to a third-party IP geolocation service (ipwho.is); results are cached on our server. DNS lookups are sent to public DNS resolvers (Cloudflare, Google, NextDNS).

Retention and requests

Detailed visit records are kept for up to 24 months; aggregate counts are kept indefinitely. To request deletion of records tied to your IP address, contact us through matrixanchor.com.
